Your FREE Friday printable is HERE!
This week, my girls finally broke down. They named all their fears and cried all the tears. They are sad about not going back to school. They miss their friends. They are worried that someone they love will get sick. They’re especially worried for our refugee friends who can’t socially distance.
We ALL have to be HELPERS.
After we heard their worries, we talked about how EVERYONE has to do their part right now. We ALL have to be HELPERS.
Hopefully this language will help your child during this difficult time. Here are a few ways we can be helpers right now:
- Stay home.
- Wash your hands often.
- Do your best with distance learning.
- Be kind to your siblings.
- Wave to your neighbors.
- Call your grandparents.
- Decorate your windows.
- FaceTime a friend.
- Send a letter in the mail.
- Donate dollars for soap.
We’d love to know how YOU’RE being a helper at home! Leave us a comment below!
